You will find the gorgeous Carbis Bay, just a short three hundred yard stroll away: Perfect for building sand castles, beach volley ball, having a paddle, or just a good old fashioned picnic.

Try a round of golf at one of the many local clubs, a spot of fishing in either a rock pool, or from a boat, or even a bit of culture at the Tate Gallery or the Minack Theatre.

The secluded and compact nature of Cornwall means that anything in it is only a maximum of one hour away, making it absolutely perfect for sightseeing.

You can of course try a spot of surfing in the fantastic waves around the Cornish coast, which make the area so famous. Take a boat trip or a helicopter ride to the Isles of Scilly, or a day out shopping in Truro.
