The delightful town of St Ives in the county of Cornwall is where you will find the charming mock Tudor fronted Howards Guest House. A warm welcome and plenty of private off street parking awaits you when you arrive.
With stunning views out over Carbis Bay and St Ives, you'll find this a perfect spot for a family holiday, group get together, or just a romantic weekend for two. The accommodation comprises a range of eleven, tastefully decorated guest rooms, with the addition of a self-catering flat, which can sleep up to four people.
All rooms have been recently decorated and now the bathrooms have locally sourced shower gel and shampoo's and soaps for guests to enjoy. Some of the rooms have fabulous sea views, but they all have full central heating, en-suite, free view colour TV, and a complimentary selection of hot beverages. Naturally a good hearty full Cornish breakfast is included in your stay!
The hotel its self has its own recycling program as we are trying to go as green as possible, and all products used in the hotel are either fair-trade or locally sourced.
Relax with a refreshing drink from the bar. The bar at Howards is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sports, shopping or sightseeing. In the bar you can unwind with a spot of pool or darts to round off the evening. Also WIFI is available in the bar for those who should require it.
Howards Guest House lies within an area of outstanding natural beauty, in which the Carbis Bay and St Ives are just two of the local attractions. You will find the gorgeous Carbis Bay, just a short three hundred yard stroll away: Perfect for building sand castles, beach volley ball, having a paddle, or just a good old fashioned picnic. Try a round of golf at one of the many local clubs, a spot of fishing in either a rock pool, or from a boat, or even a bit of culture at the Tate Gallery or the Minack Theatre.
The secluded and compact nature of Cornwall means that anything in it is only a maximum of one hour away, making it absolutely perfect for sightseeing.
You can of course try a spot of surfing in the fantastic waves around the Cornish coast, which make the area so famous. Take a boat trip or a helicopter ride to the Isles of Scilly, or a day out shopping in Truro.
